Avinash Lakshman

Avinash Lakshman is the Founder and CEO of Weilliptic. A computer scientist with a lifelong focus on distributed systems, Avinash is best known for co-inventing Amazon Dynamo and creating Apache Cassandra while at Facebook. His work on Dynamo earned him recognition by the ACM, where his paper continues to influence systems design worldwide. Following his time at Amazon and Facebook, Avinash founded Hedvig, where he served as Chief Storage Scientist.
